Projektmanagement

The growing importance of project work compared to routine tasks over the past few years reflects a shift toward agile project management, driven by digital transformation and globalization challenges, as noted in the study „From Rigid Processes to Agile Projects“ by Hays and PAC (2015). This paper for the „MBAM05 Project Management“ module focuses on providing a global perspective on project management, using the example of supporting a WMU Student’s Union music festival. Key tasks include comparing global project management methods, creating and analyzing a network diagram with a critical path, conducting stakeholder and risk analyses. The project documentation serves as a tool for university leadership to guide and assess the project. Applying project management principles ensures effective planning, risk mitigation, and structured communication. The project will be continuously monitored, adjusted, and reviewed to ensure success, with lessons learned documented for future improvements.
